Moulded ply back and seat and beech frame with great grain and patina.
Designed in 1950, the Hillestak chair was conceived when government-imposed Utility restrictions were still in place and was sold into assembly halls, canteens and made under licence abroad.
Classic Robin Day design, British design at its best.
