J16 is the undisputed classic among the many rocking chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner over the years.
The rocking chair was introduced by FDB Furniture in 1944 and has been in production ever since.
In his chair design, Wegner stressed the importance of freedom of movement and ergonomics – as epitomised by the rocking chair.
Original ebonised finish with great patina.
