In its home country of Indonesia ‘kupu-kupu’ means butterfly. The Kupu Kupu Merah, the Red Butterfly, is made with a rattan frame and natural rattan lattice. Our rattan is sourced from a region of Borneo where the tropical trees the rattan grows on are protected by the rattan.
‘With its Ruby Red colouring, this is a chair for the bold and the beautiful. The  Kupu Kupu Merah earns its name because its curved back bears a resemblance to a butterfly’s wing.’
This chair comes with a matching cushion seat pad in red cotton drill.
