Kristan Klausen was a Danish artist

Klausen lived on Fanø – a Danish island off the coast of southwestern Denmark and the most northerly point of the Danish Wadden Sea Islands.

A landscape painter during the 1930s and 1940s, he is best known for his Konkretist paintings (c.1955-1965). He was a member of the kunstnersammenslutningen (Artists’ Association) Konkylien and worked at the Fanø Art Museum.

Kristian Klausen died in 1973, aged 77.
