This model has an inverted Y leg supporting the fixed writing area and shelf below the seat.
A heavy sculptural piece with an aged patina and throughout.
Solid teak construction with great patina.
Signed on the rear with original markings.
Produced for the Chandigarh project in India.
Le Corbusier was in charge and the project which included all the furniture for the administrative buildings and housing.
Le Corbusier chose Pierre Jeanneret his cousin and life long collaborator to help.
