28. Two Columbia Road
Keith Robert’s shop sits on the corner of east London’s Columbia Road, home to the famous flower market. Keith opened TCR eight years ago with his father, and caters for all comers. David says: “If you want some great no-name Scandinavian dining chairs, they are here, if you want period Eames, so is that and if you want something special like Ron Arad or Hans Wegner, you can find that. But, just as importantly, there is a great selection of sofas, bookcases and coffee tables – the ordinary bits that we all need in our homes, and you can trust the prices.”
