1960s rare library / desk chair.
Teak and Wicker construction with great patina.
Produced for the Chandigarh project in India.
Le Corbusier was in charge and the project which included all the furniture for the administrative buildings and housing.
Le Corbusier chose Pierre Jeanneret his cousin and life long collaborator to help.
These chairs would have been used in the main library with the library desks.
Incredible attention to detail.
