Alvar Aalto – Rare Model 60 Stool for Pascoe

1940s rarely seen Model 60 stool for Pascoe.
Produced by Artek.
During the war period Artek opened factories in neutral Sweden where supplies were still available.
What they produced were slight variations on the classic: slimmer legs, a shaped ‘solid’ wooden top veneered with birch.
It is said that American based company Pascoe imported this variation for the U.S. market, and are rarely seen.
